Welcome to the Lamb and Mutton homepage. We specialise in rearing traditional and rare breed sheep for mature lamb and mutton, on a smallholding in the north east of Scotland. All of our animals are reared in a natural, free ranging environment, which is kinder to the animal and produces a more enjoyable and better quality end product.
Some of the breeds we have include Shetland, Jacob, Dorset, Herdwick, Lleyn, Soay, Ryeland and Southdown. All of these have their own distinct and unique flavours and meat characteristics.
We can supply you with a whole or half lamb, or individual joints. If you have never tried mutton before, we can suggest recipes and cooking methods. Please contact us to have a chat - we dont bite!
